Over the las decade or so, Microsoft made great efforts in making the SQL Server a better product. With each new versio new features were introduced and exsting features were enhanced greatly. In this session we'll look at the most important enhancements in SQL Server from version 2016 to present, with an outlook at what SQL Server 2019 would bring to the table. We'll talk about the improvements to core engine, applicable to both on-premises and the IaaS/MI as well.
