Over the past three years, Databricks have had many great features added that make a daily task for data engineers and data analysts significantly better. This session will address these updated features or new features and will consists primarily just of demos and hands-on showcases. The session will cover the following area mainly for data analysts a) Model predictions and ML Flow and upgraded features and b) data analytics and Spark 3.0 GA. For new and upgraded features for data engineers and administrators session will look into a) Data integration and orchestration with Delta Lake and b) transition from data lakes to lakehouse with Databricks and Spark.

He holds over 15 years of experience in data analysis, data mining, statistical research, and machine learning. He is a Microsoft SQL Server MVP for data platform and has been working with Microsoft SQL Server since version 2000. He is a blogger, author of many articles, a frequent speaker at the community and Microsoft events. He is an avid coffee drinker who is passionate about fixed-gear bikes. In 2018 he co-authored the book "SQL Server 2017 Machine Learning Services with R".
