Today's cloud world is ruled by three major vendors - Amazon, Google, and Microsoft. Having come to market at different times and with divergent ideas of what a cloud is and what it should be, they created their innovative platforms, similar in some aspects and quite different in others. The main goal of this session is to analyze and compare the offer of Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, and Microsoft Azure from a developer's perspective, with an emphasis on PaaS (Platform-as-a-Service) services, support for containers, orchestration and DevOps, data storage in relational and non-relational terms and the increasingly popular serverless computing.
