Sql Server Audit - who did what when?

Often we want to know who did what, but out of the box the auditing functionality doesn't do much. In this session, we'll take a look at the actual Audit capabilities of SQL Server using the Extended Events infrastructure and a few ways to do it without that infrastructure. This way you can finally keep track of everything that happens on your SQL Servers.

He's been programming for 20 years, developing different types of applications in .Net (C#), SQL Server, and Swift, ranging from standard line-of-business image-processing applications to high-performance and IoT applications. He's a regular speaker at various conferences and user group meetings and really likes optimizing slow SQL statements, analyzing performance, and finding unconventional solutions to complex SQL Server problems.
